Dr Jason Lang

Dr Jason Lang is the Founder of Neuriversity, an organisation dedicated to helping people and organisations better understand neurodivergence and create environments where neurodivergent people can thrive. He is also a Senior Clinical Lecturer in Neurodevelopment at the University of Glasgow and an Honorary Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Jason's work is grounded in a neuro-affirming approach that recognises neurodivergence as a natural part of human diversity. His research explores the experiences of neurodivergent children and young people, how different neurotypes commonly occur together, and how schools, workplaces and services can be redesigned to create better environments for neurodivergent people.

Through Neuriversity, Jason works with organisations across education, health, social care and the third sector, translating current research into practical, strengths-based training that promotes understanding, confidence and inclusion.

Jason also brings lived experience to his work. He is autistic and the father of two neurodivergent daughters, perspectives that continue to shape both his professional practice and his commitment to creating a more neuro-inclusive society.

We are delighted to share Jason with the DIFFERabled community. Please check back soon for available sessions.
