Neuro-Affirming Learning and Information Programme

We hope that from participating in our programme, our community will benefit in a way that supports them and their families to live meaningful lives.

We offer various sessions and workshops which encompass 3 main objectives:

  • To provide an increased level of knowledge and understanding on neurodivergence and neurotype

  • Encouraging self empowerment, advocacy and autonomy for the whole family and / or person

  • Raising awareness and promoting inclusivity of neurodiversity and hidden disability

We appreciate that everyone has a preference to presentation style and content, therefore, we find it important to offer choice. With this, we have a selection of Neuro-Affirming consultants / mentors (below) that we work with. Everything in our programme is designed and created by those with personal lived experience of neurodiversity. DIFFERabled understand the importance of this aspect, and are proud that all staff, volunteers, consultants and board members have this unique quality to bring to their role.
