Neuroskills Workshops for Neurodivergent Young People 🎨

We are delighted to offer fun, free courses delivered by the DIFFERabled team, using the fantastic creative methods created by our friends at Dekko Comics!

Tailored specifically for 9–14 year olds (late primary to secondary years), this course is designed for the young person to attend alongside their parent or carer. Running weekly [usually] during school hours for 4–5 weeks, the sessions explore why neurodivergent students might struggle with conventional schoolwork, providing practical ways to use their unique strengths to unlock new ways of learning.

Therapy dog, Clover, is sometimes present at these sessions to help provide a calming environment. We keep Clover on a lead, and she loves a wee pat on the head, which you are more than welcome to give her during break times!

Your comfort and safety are our priorities. Please let us know if you have any fears or allergies to dogs so we can easily arrange for Clover not to be at your session.

  • Supervision: Adults remain fully responsible for their child at all times during the course, including if they leave the learning room.
