We meet monthly at Corkerhill, where regular and new parents / carers are welcome to join us for a cuppa and a relaxed chat, sharing information and supporting each other.

Pollok Parent / Carer Drop In Information & Support
This drop in group for parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people offers information and support from peers. We are based within the Health Centre of the Pollok Civic Realm, alongside the Youth Health Service clinic.

ONLINE - Adult Neurodiversity Group
This group is for those diagnosed or undiagnosed; suspecting or awaiting diagnosis of a neurodivergent condition. All are welcome to join us for a relaxed chat, to support each other and gain useful information.

This is a drop in service within Elmvale Primary school for parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people. Although this group is held within the school, anyone can attend as it is not limited to those from the school community. You are welcome to join us for a cuppa and a relaxed chat, offering support to each other.

This is a drop in service within Elmvale Primary school for parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people. Although this group is held within the school, anyone can attend as it is not limited to those from the school community. You are welcome to join us for a cuppa and a relaxed chat, offering support to each other.
Cairn Legal
DIFFERabled invite you to join us on 28th February 2025 at the Glasgow Science Centre, where we have arranged for Cairn Legal to share some highly beneficial information sessions on the following topics:
Post-school transition process
Introduction to guardianship and financial planning

Independent Living Fund Scotland
ILF Scotland provides funding support for disabled people in Scotland, distributing public money from the Scottish Government.
There are two key funding opportunities available:
Independent Living Fund: Designed to support individuals who have complex disabilities to live independently.
Transition Fund: Up to £4,000 in funding for 1 year, for young disabled people aged 16-25 living in Scotland. Offering support to try new activities and experiences that will help young disabled people:
become more engaged and active in their community
enhance independence and confidence
help to spend more time with other people
You are welcome to join us on 14th February 2025 from 10.30am-12.30pm when we will have a representative from ILF Scotland join us to provide information on their service and to answer any questions you may have.

Partners In Advocacy
Partners In Advocacy provide independent advocacy for individuals living with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, physical disabilities and people over 65. They also provide independent advocacy to children and young people who are living with mental health issues, additional support needs and learning disabilities.
PiA will be joining us to share information on the service they offer and to answer any queries that you have. Many young people are benefiting from their My Rights, My Say programme to support issues surrounding school and education.

NHS GGC Neurodiversity Team presentation
James Hamilton from the Neurodiversity Team at the Greater Glasgow & Clyde NHS will be joining us to give a presentation. This will explain the assessment process, from GP referral point, and an expected timeframe. There will be time for discussion with Q&A.
This event is open to our parents, carers and neurodivergent community.
